174 - A Woman Killing For Shoes - Week of 8/28/19

The Fellowship is pleased to present our discussion of The Wizard of Oz on the 80th anniversary of its 1939 premiere. We don't bother to hide our love for this one; its airplay on TV since the early days of TV have only helped it become part of our culture. We get into its creation, the books, the remakes (before and after), the casting, and a whole lot of other stuff. Plus our usual crazy talk and our picks of the week.
Come hang out with us! We have monthly meetups on 2nd Saturdays in Garland, TX; details on Facebook & Twitter & the Events tab on our website
What we're up to this week:
Still prepping for October - plugging #AllTheHorror and our own Horror Month 🙂

Not gonna lie - I didn't believe Liz about the name of the Pink Floyd song. But she was awfully close:
Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together in a Cave and Grooving with a Pict
It has obviously been way too long since I listened to Ummagumma 🙂
And we should also note "Take Up Thy Stethoscope and Walk" and "Careful With That Axe, Eugene" as honorable mentions.
