I'd Tell You To Google It, But... - Week of 2/3/21

The Fellowship is pleased to present our latest Casting Call episode. This time around we're making a streaming series for the crime-horror comic Nailbiter (Image Comics). If you're not familiar, it's a fun book about serial killers (with some interesting takes on culture and fandom if you read carefully). Plus our usual tangents galore and our comics picks of the week.
We found a way to do our monthly meetups - on Discord! Come hang out with us in the voice channel on the 3rd Saturday of the month; details on Facebook & Twitter & the Events tab on our website
We're super excited to announce our partnership with ComicBooks For Kids. Details on the website (and you should be listening to hear more, too 🙂)
What we're up to this week:
Watching glassblowing on TV, unusual jargon, a Spongebob tangent, being sick, ordering toys from sketchy websites, our Discord mystery event thing (and how it fell apart), dog waders, prepping for our February shows, insomnia, Lords of the Cosmos - awesome comics from Jason Lenox on Kickstarter (go check it out), The Sacred Riana, The Goes Wrong Show, background work for the show, Marvel Classic Sticker Book
Check out our sponsor page! Head to the website and click on the banners for Things From Another World! (Click through the TFAW banner on our site and we get a cut. Thank you!)
We added our picks to the website as their own page! It's an easy reference for you to find some cool stuff to read (especially in social distancing mode). So go check it out, and hit the site as you need or want 🙂
And we're doing something comics-related on Discord this month - come join us over there and join the fun 🙂
Picks for the week of 2/3:
Man-Bat #1 (DC)
Luna #1 (BOOM! Studios)
Horror Comics: Black & White #1 (Antarctic Press)
Chained To The Grave #1 (IDW)
Redemption #1 (Artists Writers & Artisans)
Fear Case #1 (Dark Horse)
They Fell From The Sky #1 (Mad Cave Studios)

Please do what you can for not only local comic shops, but also your favorite creators online - many of them have online shops or Patreons or Kickstarter stuff - obviously take care of you and yours first, but if you can afford to buy something, every little bit helps
